NTCサーミスタ Type-MA は、断続的および連続的な患者の体温モニタリングを伴う医療アプリケーションで使用するように設計されています。反復性と高速応答は、口腔および直腸熱測定に関連する断続的な温度要件だけでなく、低体温症や全身麻酔中、または乳児や未熟児のケアに必要となることが多い、継続的な監視にも不可欠です。
集中治療室及び回復室のバイタルサインモニタリングの一部として患者の体温も採用しています。Thermometrics の Biomedical Sensor Assembly Type-MAは皮膚表面、鼓膜、食道、フォーリー カテーテル、およびバイオフィードバック アプリケーションなどでも採用されています。
